or is everyone else having trouble with the site on pretty much a daily basis too? It always fails after I've figured out just how to phrase my comment & then it's lost! What's the deal?

Storm,

I've had it happen a few times. Now, when I have something to say and it's pretty long, I copy and paste it into Word first so I don't lose it.

I don't comment much, so obviously it doesn't happen to me much.

I've noticed when it happens, when i get back on there are a bunch of spam postings. I think they are clogging the site.
