Dear Valued Users,

It's with a heavy heart that we announce the permanent closure of StepTalk.org on August 31st, 2025.

This decision wasn't an easy one. For over twenty years, StepTalk has been a source of support for stepparents around the world! However, over the years, the costs associated with maintaining and upgrading the site to remain secure, meet current standards and maintain availability have become unsustainable.

We are incredibly grateful for your support, contributions and the community you've helped us build. Your engagement has made StepTalk.org a special place and we cherish the memories and connections made here.

We would especially like to thank Aniki for volunteering to be a moderator and for caring so much.

UGH The Animal Torturer (SD 23) Got a Job at the Local Medical Center

Which is right around the corner from me (she lives in the next town over approx 10 minutes away from us). I (and Chef) use this medical center and have doctors there. She is a Patient Access Representative, not sure what that is, possibly a greeter or check in person, and I'm glad she is employed, but yeah, awkward!

I can only hope she doesn't have access to patient records, but I'm sure she will at some point if not already. She was always very nosy and would pilfer or change the rules as needed. Hopefully she has matured but I doubt it if she is anything like her mother the Girhippo who "liked" a post by YSS stating he thinks he shouldn't have to work and just become a professional Youtuber.

My only saving grace

is that she tends to not keep jobs for very long. She was working for a furniture company (which her brother suddenly had a lot of new furniture to sell on FB marketplace) then she was working for Doordash (and probably sampling the wares).

I would call the office and tell them that under no circumstance is the AT to have access to your records, and they'll need to take whatever steps are necessary to insure that.

UGH I feel for you

That would super-suck if SD22 Feral Forger worked anywhere I went. I had to avoid her at the Mall the one time I went.
