Negative results from disengaging???

Like Cops or CPS?? Has anyone ever disengaged from your SK(s) and got CPS called on you for things like: "not feeding the kid" or "making them walk for miles and miles to school"
When in actuality you make dinner for your family but just don't serve the SK's plate and put it In front of them.... He or she is capable of serving ones self, the food is there, yet they refuse to eat because you didn't "feed them.." (older kids of course that are capable.)
Or, making them walk to school instead of giving them a ride because they are so mean and disrespectful and don't deserve that ride! (when school is within walking distance) Yet the SP is SO mean for making the poor things walk..
I'm thinking of disengaging and from SD's and wondering how bad this can look If the kid goes to school and "cries" that SP is "abusing" them or "neglecting" them?
These Girls are so very sneaky and manipulative but look so "sweet" when they need to.
Just wondering about other SP's experience with these situations...

Hahahaha yes! Let me share my story with you. I disengaged, huge fight with DH about him being walked all over by SKids. I'm like 'fine, have at it!' He pretty soon saw for himself though...forgive my mean streak when I chuckle here.

DH instructed the SKids to get up now and ride with him or WALK to school, knowing I was not dealing with them that morning. I was actually recovering from a recent illness so I was appreciative of time out and going back to sleep. I woke up and SKids were still downstairs, past time for school going in. They made coffee, did each other's hair, listened to MTV and did everything but what their father instructed them to do...and complained that they were not walking in the heat to school so they figured they would call someone from school to give them a ride, said person responded with 'sure, I'll come get you as soon as I am done with what I am doing.' To me that translated as 'sure, just you hang by your fingernails waiting'. They do begin to get a bit afraid as lunchtime approaches so I hear SD saying she is going to wake me up and ask me to ride them. I hear SS telling her to wait for the person from school. They to and fro a while. SD comes upstairs to ask me and I tell her that she heard her father's instructions, and no, I am not riding them to school. SD storms down the stairs, gets the phone, and tells SS she's calling the cops on me because it's the law that they have to be in school and I'll get in big trouble for not taking them. SD was on probation, minor ungovernable. SS begs her not to but she's adamant! Cops come to the house, I put the dogs out on the porch and invite them in. I explain that I was in bed recovering from a recent illness and their father instructed them earlier to ride with him or walk. One cop walk outside and I glance out of the window and his shoulders are shaking, he's laughing his ass off. Every cop in our area knows SD! The other cop kept a straight face, his partner came back in and ORDERED SD to call her probation officer and tell her what was going on. The two of them got pink slipped for truancy and SD got a violation written on her probation order.
DH was NOT happy but they all mess with me and I do not play their games. Of course I am evil, the worst! My MIL almost fell off her chair laughing when I told her!

Haha! I'm lovin that story giveitago!
I'm not too worried about getting in trouble, it's just the hassle of dealin with it all! I'm sure they will eventually go to school crying abuse. They already threaten it all the time. I heard "that's vocal abuse!" (I'm thinking it's "verbal" ya idiot) the other day for DH saying "you are goin to be walking your butt to school" lol
Its nice being able to laugh at all the stories.. Nice place to vent! Thanks ladies!

Takes a bow! LOL They'll all 'get it' one day....SD currently from the inside of a secure juvenile facility and SS currently at BM's, third change of location this year because he cannot stand to live in our house since he does not get his own way any more. I kinda feel sorry a bit for DH because he's caught up in the middle of it all. He could just listen to advice though??

I am truly scared of what judge will tell SO if I disengage, I'm not worried for me. What are the ramifications of this act?
