United Front

United front...what a joke. We are NOT.

I haven't been on in awhile. Things haven't really changed much and I don't have any new outlandish SD stories. As she gets older, it gets slightly better, but I wouldn't be here if things were totally peachy.

SD doesn't listen ever. You have to tell her to do things several times and she might do it. FDH has the issue of not following through when he tells her do something. He'll ask several times, through out the day, and not get into her about it after many hours.

This morning SD and BD wanted me to wash their favorite cups to use for the day. SD is holding them in her hand. I ask her four times to give me the cups so I can wash them.FOUR TIMES!! How hard is it to just hand over the cups?!! I finally grab them away from her. She runs away crying to dadeeeeeee.

I just can't believe this shit. She doesn't listen and runs to tell on me about it. Does she get asked why she can't listen to fucking thing ever?! No. He comes and asks me why I snapped at her. Did I tell you guys he was sitting within hearing distance?

I am so sick of having my authority questioned in my own home. Especially in front of the kids. Grrr...its so frustrating to me. United front bullshit.

This is just one example of this type of crap that drew me back here.

Obviously after princess goes home, an adult discussion is needed.

Why didn't the girls just wash the cups themselves? Unless they are preschoolers, they should be able to give a cup a quick wash.

They are three and six. And I would never trust SD6 to get something clean enough. She's sick almost continuously because she's a nasty, dirty bird.

Sounds like my DH. Except the skids are SD19 and SD13. SD19 will be 20 in a few weeks. It will never change.

I was always of the mind that children shouldn't be apart of adult conversation. That's the reason she does this anyway. He's sensitive about her terrible behavior and she's learned to run to dadeeeeeee.

Time to start wearing a secret body cam. Of course these guilty daddies could see their spawn committing axe murder and still not believe it with their own lying eyes!!!
