Clearing acne during pregnancy

rlj2007's picture

I know this is not step-parent related but I am having a horrible time clearing acne that I have inherited during my first trimester. I am about 10 weeks pregnant now. I have been to the dermatologist and of course there isn't much they can do during pregnancy. Does anyone have any advice and/or remedies that they know of that have worked?

Sorry about the anonymous post, I can't remember my username and password, and I haven't gotten around to correcting it yet.

I use the L'Oreal Acne Response Daily Adult Acne Regimen. (It's the blue and white box.) I had acne and rosacea so bad that a woman once walked up to me in a restaurant and said, "Oh, your face looks so painful!" My dermatologist tried everything, including burning my face with a laser. My face cleared up within a few days of using this stuff. I almost cried.

I am a lucky recipient of adult acne along the jaw line, and I have been to a dermatologist. They prescribed me a water pill, which was working slowly, and at the time I was using dermalogica face cleansers. I spent a grip of money trying to clear up my acne, and then my girlfriend was going to an Arbonne meeting.

Arbonne is sold like Mary Kay, and they sent me home with a trial package of the product. I feel the product is to die for! It is all botanical AND vegan certified (there are no animal by products used to make this stuff) and I am really amazed at not just how my acne is clearing up faster, but my scars are healing extremely well. The night cream alone is amazing.

Not only do I use Arbonne for my cleaning my face, but I now wear the mineral makeup, and I am a firm believer in Arbonne now. You can become a consultant yourself if you want to be, I did just to receive my own discount, and in doing so, I just order my own stuff, I don't have to rely on a business person to make my orders happen.

I suggest you find a consultant in your area and ask for a trial package to test drive the stuff for yourself for a week.

Good luck,
Candice

The only thing that has truly helped me with this has been "Philosophy's" regular face wash...it did wonders for my skin...Looked better than ever in my life...No, I don't sell it or anything...But I can honestly say that is the ONLY thing that ever worked for me. And being that I'm a busy mom, it was a one step deal that always worked.
