He had the cat scan nd now they want to do a byopsy. Is this normal not to know anything or them not to tell you anything. I cant stand this. They said we would know wends. But they just called to set up a biopsy. Im going out of my mind with these tests and no answers.

Unfortunately, it is normal. They don't want to diagnose without really knowing.
While the unknown is awful, I think it's worse to *think* it's one thing, only to find out later it's another.

Take heart that they are at least taking their time walking through the steps. I'd like to think that if they were realllly concerned, they'd be moving faster.

Sure hope he's going to be ok.

My DH had a biopsy of a weird growth on his face we were afraid was cancer. The derm took a biopsy but said he was lpretty sure it wasn't cancer just a growth. So, it was not like your case where they just refused to say anything.

Not sure if that was helpful or not, that was just my experience.

Thanks i just hate not knowing anythin. Dh told me not to til there was something to worry about. I just cant help it.

The not knowing is the absolute worst. But I know for a fact, if there was an issue, they would be hustling things along a lot faster.

I'm sure he will be fine. They found the lump near the lymph nodes, which tells me they are being cautious and ruling out everything bad before giving a diagnosis.
