Massachusetts Residents (and others) Comments are being accepted for a new Child Support Task Force

I don't know how I missed this, as I'm always googling info on CS in MA. Anyway, some promising news for those of us in MA - there is a new task force meeting in hopes of updating the Child Support guidelines. MA has some of the highest CS payments in the country. The guidelines changed in 2009 making the amounts double or triple for some payors. The Taks Force is accepting comments, but they must be in by Sept. 30th. You can email them. (See address below). Even if you are not in MA and are as outraged as I am about the current laws, you can still write. A win for MA is a win for Non-custodial parents everywhere! We need momentum on this movement of social change!

I could not imagine being a noncustodial parent in MA.

I did a quick calculation, DH Wii pay over 280 a week in support for one kid, almost 130 more than in In.

That's crazy
