Don’t want SS here
With this Coronavirus schools are closed for 3 weeks, so far they haven't closed them permanently until September. I have managed to be lucky and not have my SS who is 17 acts like he is 12 here at my home. But now he wants to come out and I have this fear he wants to stay a while if we are going to go into lock down mode like some parts of the country I do not want that nuisance child here for a long period of time. My anxiety level over it is going through the roof and I am miserable when he is here. I told his dad with the Coronavirus rapidly spreading his son should stay home, but his dad refuses to listen and gives in to whatever son wants. Now his kid can't look for a part time job because businesses are temporarily closing so we are going to be stuck with him.

I'm currently living your nightmare! I can't stand SD17 and stuck with her this week and next.
I feel sorry for everybody in
I feel sorry for everybody in this position. We are slowly going into ‘lockdown’ in the UK. Everybody has there own opinion on this. I can certainly see that it’s sensible for all that kids stay at the main place of residence for the time being. At times like these adults get the major decisions because the are not mature enough to think through potential consequences for people.
My 21 year old son and 18 year old son have come back for at least a few months in case flights/trains etc start to be cancelled.
I don’t mind and this way they aren’t putting other people out. Their family are at the other end of the phone if they need them.
A lot of schools closed this week. But some parents still aren’t seeing sense ie the neighbour had a bored kid they knew knock on their door yesterday. Maybe kids don’t get this as bad but they can still spread the germs. I mean, what’s the point of social distancing if people aren’t sensible?
