Sold My Wedding Rings

Well it hurt like hell but I sold mine and stbxh's wedding rings today. I had to have a little crying melt down at my desk over these rings. I know there is no chance of us reconsiling but if for some reason we ever did those are now tainted. Each step I take through this whole divorce process sucks big time but I know there is some reason for all of this and someday (just not today lol) I'll be stonger.

I would love to but the A/C in my car needs to be repaired so that money is going to go towards that. I live in the South and A/C is a MUST in the summer.

I have a friend who lives just outside of New Orleans and I'd love to blow all that money and go visit her and party on Bourbon St. for a few days but, dang it I guess I have to be a grown up first.

My first set of wedding rings, I sold and bought a dining room set. My second set of wedding rings I had the stones re-set and turned into a beautiful diamond ring. I gave the wedding band to my oldest son so he can give it to his fiance.

I have been following your blogs msc, and I must say, you are staying strong through it all. You should be very proud of yourself! Divorce is NEVER easy no matter if your the one filing or not. There is just so much paperwork, etc to take care of. Keep your head up and take a little of that money and treat yourself to something fun Blum 3

Thank you sweet!! I'm doing the best I can to keep my head held high through all this. It's not easy that's for sure. I'm just taking everything one day at a time.

I wish I had my rings. They were stolen by either my son or my ex. Go figure.
Look on the bright side, at least you are getting something good out of the rings instead of them sitting in a jewelry box!!
