So sd8 has a name... with a very typical nickname and a less typical one. I'm trying to find a similar name to work with. Like if you had a Rebecca and she has a typical nickname ofbecky or Becca.. but then someone else calls her Reba. FDH and sd5and bs and I all call sd8 by her typical nickname
BM1 insists on calling her by the other name (which is a name all by itself despite also being a short version of SDS name). She apparently signed sd8 up for soccer with her nickname instead of her full name and letting them call SD whatever.
This is not an issue we ever really think about or care about. But! It sure was funny to watch sd5 and bs tell off all the other people at sd8s soccer game for cheering on the wrong kid. We had to explain that SDS name is in fact Xxx and that Yyy is BMS nickname for her.

That's funny that the other kids were correcting it.
BM has a really stupid nickname for OSD, it has to be annoying for her because the nickname is a manly version of her name! I don't mean in a cute way either like Dani for Danielle or Sam for Samantha... the nickname for SD she has is bad.
