New Facebook Group for Stepmoms dealing with Mini-Wife Syndrome

Mini-Wife Syndrome is so controversial. Thank God for Steptalk where most everyone is supportive of each other's issues.

HOWEVER, I often see women getting attacked for even breathing the word on other Facebook groups, so I started one for us stepmoms who are dealing with Mini-Wife Syndrome. If anyone wants to join us it can be found at:

So, I have friend who is remarried to a woman with one prior child. They have a kid together as well. His SD is around 19. When they visit, she sits on his lap. Freaks me out!

Come on, sit on a chair already.

Can't imagine having to deal with this along with everything else. At least HK14 does not do this.

Glad you have a support group on this situation with SD.

We mostly have mini-wife syndrome under control at our house, but it crops up every now and then. As she gets older, she gets smarter and better at manipulating, so it's an ongoing battle:/

I have a full on mini-wife that is SD15stb16. Sometimes it is really unbearable. SO will even "cover up" things we have discussed that she does anyway, just so I won't see it and "get mad". I'm not mad that she breaks rules, I'm mad that you don't parent and are always on the "other side"..... Sigh. He doesn't get it. I just requested to join!!!!

My husband does the same thing at times. It drives me crazy. I mean, seriously, DH? Where are your balls??? I think we'd all be happier if our DH's just behaved like parents instead of infatuated teenagers with their daughters.

Nope, no mini wife here. I would have never married DH to begin with if that was the case! That shit disgusts me!

I honestly don't know that I have ever even seen DH hug SD17?? Yeah, he'll tell her he loves her obviously, but none of that smarmy shit that should be reserved for your wife or GF!
