Disengaging...It's Awesome!

At first I wondered how it would work. But, I'm beginning to get the hang of it. Right now it's easy, because neither SD is around that much.

But when they are around, disengaging makes things SO much easier. I'm sure I need to keep working on it, but the more you do it, the easier it gets!

Thank you to all the wise men & women here who advocate for disengaging. How clever of you to have figured this out.

I'm sure that Apple is making a fortune on the SM's buying Ipads for their disengagments. Netflix may be too. Kindle and Nooks, right there also. What else? Oh, ear plugs. And Alcohol.

My bedroom is my lifesaver!! I got a tv, pvr, comfy bed, candles and wine in that room! I disengaged from skids 1 month into the relationship. Its been 2.5 years since. Its awesome. I recommend disengagement to every stepparent!
