Hey Dad!! - Bring me cigarettes & a pop!

irishgirl0727's picture

So last year DH got a long Facebook rant for fathers day about how horrible he is. This year he got a Facebook post of a picture of the two of them and I love you in the morning, nice for change right? He went to a fathers day pic-nick for the family, no SD. An hour before he was getting ready to head to bed, he gets a text. "Dad, bring me a pack of smokes and a pop!" Really??? :? So now he's a piece of poo again for telling her no!

Wow ... I think this deserves a mention in the entitled hall of fame...
Fair play to him for standing up to her stupid ass!!!

Our BM posted a meme about dead beat dads. IDK why she would do this. BM has paid no support or financial help for SD15 and she has lived with us 100% for the last 6 years.

It just breaks my heart to see him continually be disappointed. Every time he starts letting her back in and hopes she's going to change the way she acts toward him, he gets smacked in the face once again with her only wanting to use him. It's sad! She is 17 now, this is what the entitled, demanding, spoiled brats turn into.

I know it's difficult to watch the person you love suffering, but for some it's the only way they learn what their kids really are.

At least your skids is overt about being an a$$hole. Better that than the covert sort that smiles in your face while trying to manipulate.

I don't know your backstory, but doesn't your partner bear a portion of the blame for how that brat has turned out?

Most of it is due to parental alienation, SD taking on BM's bitterness and self entitled attitude. Mix that with grandparents who over indulged and catered to the poor victim child of divorce.

My SS16 asked DSO to bring him cigs last week. DSO ignored. BM lets him smoke but no, we don't allow or encourage it.
