Incredibly upsetting, I would NEVER have acted like this when I was a kid. These kids have to be at least in their early teens...can you IMAGINE. ridiculous.

Stepkids or not, children these days are horrendous. I have never hit my own kids but I would go on a rampage spanking all of these brats if I could. I hope their parents are ashamed of themselves. Most kids have a mean streak that needs to be dealt with by the parents. I had to deal with my own but let me tell you, my daughter learnt her lesson.

I just don't understand how any child could think speaking to an adult or ANYONE for that matter like that is ok. I watched it again and it looks like these are younger kids like preteen maybe 11 or 12 year olds...WTF. I am glad this made it online if only to to show these rotten little snots to the world.

I agree! I see them on the bus/train everyday. No respect for elders. Of course they don't realize that one day they will be old too. SMDH, I couldn't even finish watching the video. I was crying because I was so mad at those kids. I hope they discipline them accordingly!

Probably mothers who cannot control them and will make excuses for their unconsciable (sp) behavior.

I don't think that is entirely accurate. I did not have an "involved" father growing up...I had a shitty childhood. Did I think it was acceptable to be a bully to anyone including adults? Absolutely not! I am shocked to be perfectly honest...how has parenting changed so much even in the past decade that this younger generation has turned out like this??

Some parents are just not parenting. Everybody is doing their own thing (computers, video games, on cell phones ALL the time) and kids have no decent examples to learn from.

With all the gadgets and technology available, social skills are absent.

Oh, you mean like the generalization that these must be some poor SM's skids? lol

IAmALady77's picture

I wasn't making a generalization. When I saw this I was reminded of several skid stories I read about on here, which is why I titled it as such.

"I hope their parents are ashamed of themselves"

That is exactly what I said to my husband when we saw this. Kids these days have NO respect for adults, period. I never would've dreamed to act like that.

Punished by the school? What about the parents punishing their own children and teaching them how to act properly to begin with.

It is heartbreaking and I think I would leave my child toothless if he ever did something like this. As it is, he did something really mean to a kid in school once and I made him go to the kids house, apologize to the boy and to his parents. He was grounded for 6 weeks AND I whipped his ass with a belt. I don't play those games, I'll be damned if MY kid is going to make me look like a bad parent. Get the F outta here with that BS.

It would be interesting to see what the parents of these kids have to say. Will there be apologies to the elderly lady? Consequences?

It's more likely they tell their mother how's its going to be and walk right out the door and do whatever they want.

Well one of the kids is already playing the "They made me record it" card. It was peer pressure! Boo hoo, I'm too stupid to stop doing something when I know it's wrong! Dumbasses...

Disneyfan's picture

It doesn't matter what their back stories are. Plenty of kids from "good" families do dumb stuff when they get with their peers.

Had Ms. Karen hit the kid that touched her, she would have lost her job and the parents and school system could filed charges against her.

She has 8 grandkids. I wonder if any are the same ages as the kids on that bus. If so, I hope her grandkids and their friends beat the crap out of their little asses.

Thank goodness they were stupid enough to post the video.

I couldn't bear to watch more than a couple minutes of the video. That is someone's grandma! What could be going through those kids' heads that would make them want to be so horrible?? I want to know what is going to be done to straighten those kids the eff out - it would be a shame if all that comes out of this is a media blitz and a bunch of empty posturing by school officials.

Take this story a step further. One of the boys father's came forward and was understandably ashamed for his child's actions. And do you know what he got for that effort at being an upstanding human? death threats to him, his child and his family. So the adults that we expect to be teaching these kids not to be bullies are bullies themselves.

So much of our culture is becoming embarassing.

Disneyfan's picture

I'm all for some local kid knocking those kids around a bit. That isn't being a bully, it's standing up for/protecting someone else.

Death threats are crossing the line.
