Evil SM Thrown Under the Bus. Again.

Frustr8d1's picture

Last week, I was in the main bathroom...the bathroom in the main area of the house (for guests and also SD's main bathroom that she uses) So I noticed her shampoo & conditioner were both gone. SD habitually leaves empty shampoo bottles and soap bottles on the counter. I was a little surprised because DH had just gotten her new ones not too long ago. So, I decided to go and get her new shampoo & conditioner.

Now here it is, 5 days later, and SD tells DH she needs more shampoo/conditioner.

DH: I thought you just got some.

SD: Well, when I got them, they were like half way empty.

DH looks at me under the Interrogation Light.

Me: Hey, I got her new shampoo/conditioner 5 DAYS AGO. You know, SD goes through an extreme amount of both shampoo. She uses an entire bottle every 5 days. Oh, and by the way, she also goes through a gallon of milk every 3 days. (YES, I'M VERY IRRITATED)

No one asked me for more shampoo. ON MY OWN INITIATIVE I noticed SD was out so I put more in there for her. No one noticed. I got no thanks.

I just find it extremely rude that SD has no problem using everything we provide, YET, she also has no problem throwing ME under the bus YET AGAIN when DH asks why she is using things excessively.

Evil Stepmom is always the easy Scapegoat. Even when I'm trying to be nice.

Agreed! I buy NOTHING for SD16... if I did, I'd just be enabling both her AND DH to be lazy ass rejects and when DH gets asked to make a special trip to the store because she ran out of shampoo or whatever, he actually lights her up and tells her no, she'll just have to go without until the next time someone is at the store. Only freaking way these kids (and dads!) will ever learn!

OMG SD16 is sooooo annoying with shampoo and conditioner. I swear at this very moment, she has at the very LEAST 4 empty bottles, 2 half empty bottle and 2 more full bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the bathtub. Why the fuck is it soooo difficult to throw out an empty bottle when you are done with it? Why??? And why does DH keep buying her more, when she hasn't even used what is already in there?? Why??

Oh and all this crap in there along with about 5 razors, 2-3 bottles of body soap and of course her nazty ass globs of sasquatch hair in the drain are the reason that nobody else can use the ONLY bathtub in our home anymore. Not that I really like to take baths, but it does have Jacuzzi jets which are nice every once in a while and BS4 would like to take baths, but now he has to take showers in our bathroom because he refuses to go anywhere near her shithole and I REFUSE to clean it FOR a perfectly capable nazty, lazy ass.

Me too! Especially the last one.

I didn't realize I don't say hello and goodbye to skid when he comes over for visitations until my sister spent a weekend with me. When Sunday evening rolled around and DH announced he was taking skid back, my sister actually went to the door and said "Bye, skid!". And it was sincere. I can't even remember the last time I acted like I cared that they were coming or going.

I put dish soap in SD16 shampoo when I found out she was up in my bathroom taking a shower when I was not home. Piss on my territory and I shall do the same to yours poodycat.

LOL Poodycat was my (terrible) attempt at spelling it the way Tweety Bird says it to Sylvester the cat.. you know... "Aw, I tawt I taw a poody cat!"

The hilarious thing that I never even thought about is SD16's twitter handle is her first name followed by "Kat" so like... KellyKat. I think I shall now call her poodycat as well! Thanks for the idea! Wink

Yep!! SD11 here loves to leave empty containers of everything in this house! Empty milk containers in the fridge. Empty shampoo bottles in bath. Empty peanut butter jar in cupboard.... What a nice surprise I wake up to every single day. I absolutely LOVE taking baths but I cannot take a bath in this house when the only bathtub is the one SD uses. If I want to take a bath, I have to scrub and sanitize it and remove the nasty hairs from the drain. Kinda takes away the pleasure after busting my back to clean nastiness....

I just go without. Even though I worked my ass off the past 30 yrs of my life.

Your first mistake was doing something nice for an ungrateful skid.

I have a story that I'm not ready to tell yet because it is too fresh, I'm too angry, and I think I might be a bit paranoid. I need time to sort it out for myself before I bring it here (which I will do eventually because you STalkers are awesome). It happened a couple of weeks ago. Let's just say that the police were involved.

Every damn time I'm nice to a skid, they act like shits. Then a few months go by and I start to relax and give them the benefit of the doubt and then slip up and accidentally do something for them (for DH's sake).

They sure will! I stopped doing things for SD because I wanted to out of the goodness of my heart long before I stopped doing it for FDH. I still made sure she was taken care of on Easter and her birthday for his sake. But eventually her shitty attitude and constant complaining of what I bought (even when it was exactly what she asked for), along with FDH always saying "I don't know if she'll like that..." and her thanking him oh so very much for the same thing that I just got the stinkeye and some shitty comment about got to be too much. Christmas 08 was the final straw for me.

I spent the weekend fighting the maddening mall crowd to get that spoiled bitch what she wanted from the expensive teeny bopper name brand stores and I paid for it myself because FDH had recently lost his job, and all she could do was make snide comments. Not a thank you to be heard, except for him. He allowed her thankless behavior and even excused it. "She's just used to me being the only one who ever does anything for her, so it's habit for her to only thank me." I said "At 16 years old, shouldn't it be "habit" to thank ANYONE who does something for you?" I told him I was DONE. That he was on his own for her birthday, Christmas, all of it. I told him I was done shopping, I was done picking things out, all of it. It was ALL on him. Suddenly his tune changed. "I'm sure whatever you get her will be fine!" I told him no. Too bad. I'M DONE. She didn't get a stocking anymore, nothing for Easter (I always make my kids baskets and get them an outfit), no card or cake for her birthday. I don't care. The look on her face the next year when my kids got stockings and she didn't was awesome. }:) I even reminded FDH when we were shopping that if he wanted her to have a stocking, he needed to get things to stuff it with. He said he forgot. Oh well. Not my problem! Smile

Dollar store for my SS. He never says anything about being low, I have to go in and look. But, when SD was here, she went through the stuff, so I started buying it all at the dollar store and never stopped. BS complains and wants more expensive stuff, but nope, you get a job you can pay for better stuff than the Suave.

At least she uses the supplies you buy! When SD8 was there she would get in the shower, but somehow NEVER ran out of shampoo, soap, and I realize this is some sort of miracle or witchcraft, but the washcloth was ALWAYS dry... Weird I know right!!!! However somehow water would be all over the bathroom floor, such a mystery. And when I would mistakenly point out that SD smelled like a pissy urinal following a bath former SO would stare about me like HOW DARE YOU? Oh well

I would make her buy her own. That is way too much shampoo. I have had the same 2 bottles for months now. Still using them.
My daughter is 17 and anything she wants on the high end she has a job to pay for.

I remember those days of being unappreciated. I just stopped doing everything. To this day there are some things I still refuse to do.
