First time blogger here.

A little background- SD15 and SS13 live with me and DH full time, BM has EOW visitation and is a sorry excuse of a mother in my opinion.  SD and I do not have the best relationship for the past couple of years, but I've taken care of them for the past 9 years. 

SD15 was supposed to be at an overnight camp program this week and then on Saturday they were leaving to go on vacation with BM for the week. Yesterday she calls DH saying she is sick and needs picked up. DH drives the 1.5 hours there.  They go to get her stuff out of the dorm she was staying in and he said it was at least 90 degrees in there.  He asked why they didnt turn the AC on and she said they tried, but it was broken.  He turned it on, no problem.  So, she probably had heat exhaustion from staying two nights in a hot room instead of asking for help or telling someone they thought it was broken.  Way to use that brain...

The camp gave her the option to rest for the evening which she left that part out when she called, but she decided it was best for her to come home.  So now we paid $150 for her to stay 1.5 days. 

I was supposed to have two glorious weeks...guess I'll be counting down until Saturday again.
