Creepy SS is creepy.
Okay STalk,
I’m about to take you to a place where the topic of sex and horror combine. So if any of you feel a little bit uneasy after reading this all I can say is “you’ve been warned”.
So last night DW and myself were “in the mood” so to speak. With three kids and an attention-starved dog sleeping in adjacent rooms, stealth sex is not just an acquired skill but a necessity that DW and I have managed to master.
Our bedtime Olympics starts slowly, and builds up a momentum. We keep a balance between the crescendo and the diminuendo all the while keeping our ears pealed like wild jackrabbits for fear our presence will be discovered.
Suddenly we hear SS get out of bed.
Fuck!....err….I mean, disengage!
So DW and I unlock ourselves from each other and stay very still. SS comes out of his room. He looks around seeming somewhat confused. He then enters the bathroom and closes the door.
When he was finished, SS entered the hallway again and just stood there. I swear, it was a scene right out of Paranormal Activity. SS just stood there and it looked like he was trying to look into our room. There was no way he could see us because it’s very dark and since SS insists on sleeping with the lights on in his room, his eyes never adjust to the darkness.
Well at least I hope he couldn’t see us.
I thought for sure that SS was going to call out for DW for something, but he didn’t.
He just stood there….and stared.
DW and I sat very still and said nothing. We just lied patiently and waited.
Finally, SS just went back into his room. The whole ordeal must have lasted about 20 seconds.
“What was that all about?” DW whispers.
I whisper back “Maybe he was taking notes?”

Very creepy indeed! SS15 does
Very creepy indeed! SS15 does that all the time. Creeps up the stairs, stands right around the corner, peers around and stares. When you address him, he's like,"Uuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....?"
Why do so many skids do this? It's so freakin' bizarre.
Does he sleepwalk? I'm thinking not.
When SS was younger he would
When SS was younger he would try to crawl into bed with us. Even after we told him to stop doing that, and we made it VERY CLEAR that he was never, ever, EVER going to sleep in bed with us, SS would still come into our room, stand over his mother and wake her and try to convince her to come into bed with him.
After we told him that he is not allowed to enter our room AT ALL in the middle of the night, he would do what I had described above. Usually he'll call out for his mother and we would tell him to go back to sleep. He hasn't done it in a while though, so I guess old habits die hard? I dunno.
Maybe he thought he had heard
Maybe he thought he had heard some noises? Then when he came by your room, didnt see anyone up, was confused?
idk... just a thought.. .lol. just hoping wasnt being a creepy starer.
Yeah, normally we keep the
Yeah, normally we keep the door open. We do this because little BD still wakes up in the middle of the night sometimes and cries. I need to rush to get there and coax her back to sleep before she wakes anyone else up.
lmfao! wow, your ss is
lmfao! wow, your ss is just... wow....
Nope, no incidents of
Nope, no incidents of sleepwalking.
You don't close and lock the
You don't close and lock the door? Dear lord!
All door locks in the house
All door locks in the house have a "Bypass switch" on them. SS hasn't figured them out but little "Scrounger" and the "Cooler King" can easily unlock them with their tiny fingers.
YES. a slide or chain lock
YES. a slide or chain lock and a baby monitor- problem solved.
we lock the door every time, and unlock it afterwards. never had an issue.
You haven't met my kids have
You haven't met my kids have you? We have a child-safety gate at the top of our stairs. Both BS and BD know how to operate it (which sort of kills the point of having one there in the first place). Something out of reach? They'll pull chairs and step-stools to get at what it is they want. When BD just learned to walk, she figured out how the patio door worked and tried to make a break for it.
Yup! That's it. I answered
Yup! That's it. I answered this above....
Yep both SSs at teen years.
Yep both SSs at teen years.
At least close the door and then open after you are done for the little ones.
Yep! This is what me and DH
Yep! This is what me and DH do. I like to sleep with our door cracked because of BS8 in the house. I do it because I like to hear what is going on.
But for sex... yes...lock the door... then you cant complain about him creeping. Problem solved.
>Does he act any different
>Does he act any different after a night like this?? More clingy with DW or other weird things??<
Define "more" please.
SS is already super clingy with DW and it pisses me off that DW doesn't see it. Remember Redwings blog (or comment) when she said she took a snapshot of her hubby and stepdevil hugging each other (stepdevil was sitting on his lap I think)? Hubby saw the pic and said. "Wow! We look like a couple there!" That's when he had that wake up call. I am hoping to do something similar and catch DW and SS that way. Because whenever I say something about it, DW says I'm "exagerrating" (I am ALWAYS exagerrating), which is why I keep my cell-phone on me at all times hoping to get a snapshot off of DW and SS in his Oedipus glory.
I said the exact same thing
I said the exact same thing to DW once.
DW: "SS has the whole day off from school, why doesn't he go spend time with Vicky?"
Me: "Why should he? He has you."
DW: "What the hell is *THAT* supposed to mean!?!?"
Me: "Uh...Urm....Oh look! Cookies burning!"
That's exactly like SS! SS:
That's exactly like SS!
SS: "MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM! MOM!"
DW: "WHAT!?!? What do you want?"
SS: "Uh....I forgot what I wanted to say."
Oh, but remember, according to DW this is "normal" behavior...Whenever I say that it's weird, I'm "exagerrating".
Crap! We do have a ceiling
Crap! We do have a ceiling fan in our room but I fixed it so that it would be more quiet when it is on! DOH!!!
Ummm close the door... I am
Ummm close the door... I am sure little BD will be fine for the 25 or 35 seconds it will take you.
Haha, just kidding.
Great! Not only do I have to
Great! Not only do I have to remember to close the door, but I have to remember to set the stopwatch too?!
No stopwatch required....

You've just reminded me to be thankful that I could send a marching band through there and SS would stay asleep. LOL
My In-laws ALWAYS call at
My In-laws ALWAYS call at suppertime too! I even asked DW "Uh....do you're in-laws eat dinner?".
