O/T Tax time... and a lil bit of SD20

OMG, tired of the income tax ballers in a stupid "mommy" facebook group I belong to, bitching about where their returns are. I swear they check their "status" every freaking day and then make a post to complain about how long it's taking and is any else's taking this long and how come it says there is a delay. Ballers!!!!! It's only 2/14. Not like it's June. Chill the fuck out! I only joined the group to be a stalker for a third party and contemplate every freaking day leaving, but sometimes the drama posts are worth the annoying posts Wink

On a SD note, was stalking SD20 twitter the other day and she was talking about her "new room mates" for next year. Hope this means she's planning on staying in college???!!!! Haven't heard another word about the car either so don't know what's going on there.. honestly don't care as long as it doesn't involve drama for me. She also twatted (oops I mean tweeted) that she got invited to some military ball. Maybe she can be like a lot of the BM's I've read about around here and get knocked up by a service man and cause him headaches and drama for the rest of his life. Wink

Happy VDay bitchez! Roses are red, violets are blue, I wish for a skid free day for all of you!

DON'T WISH THAT ON ANYONE. BM got knocked up on purpose and now DH and I are dealing with that s***. UGH! Dependapotamuses and Tricareatops are the worst... And they cause headaches for the poor actually sane SM that follows...

That being said. I did have a laugh... LOL, also just dealing with drama and twitching this week...

Happy Valentine's Day!!! It won't be skid free... But maybe I'll get some kisses! I already got morning cuddles! Smile That was relaxing!

I just read that post and I saw your comment and I was thinking the SAME thing. LOL! Driving me nuts! There was a time back in the day when I would anxiously wait for my refund to pay off bills, pay rent ahead of time and then have a little bit of spending $ but it wasn't life or death. Like some of those girls- I need the $ now or I'm going to get evicted if I don't pay my rent. Then their $ is going to come in and they will just blow it. Ugh! I won't ever forget how far I have come but I am blessed and grateful for being smart when it comes to $.

Fingers crossed about the roommates...

It's always nice to get a tax return but I never expect it or depend on it. It grinds my gears that our lazy BM gets to claim SD every year PLUS she has another kid and will never get married so I'm sure she strong arms her boyfriend into letting her claim their mutual kid so she can stay head of household. A household I'm 99% sure she doesn't pay a bill toward.

Her main argument in court was keeping the child tax credit. DH didn't want to fight so he let her have it. Sad she needs a couple thousand so bad that she refuses to give DH more time than his 15-20%.

I'm impressed that there are people who've had their taxes done long enough to be waiting impatiently. I didn't even get my W2 until the beginning of this month and I wasn't ambitious enough to drop everything and file my taxes on the day I got it. I'm getting a refund (yay!!) but have no expectation that I'll get it right away. I have it direct deposited, so it's always a nice surprise to check my account balance and notice more money than I thought I had!

Right? We don't even have an appointment with our accountant until next week... and I had to make that back in December! lol

We were in a hurry... I managed to get my W2s pretty quick when I explained the situation... The lawyer said it would be best if we beat BM... Apparently whoever files last gets audited the worst... BUT, the Co didn't say who could or could not claim them, we informed her and she never responded. So legally she said we had full rights to. It would just be easier on us to do it first, just in case... So we had ours in like mid January. LMAO

DAizyD - tell those crying Tax whores they can always move to Mars... refunds takes 2-5 years before it pays out lol... and without interest, but if you owe the IRS 2cent it's charged with interest daily
