DH may see the light?

DH picked up SS16's final results for school.  He passed none of his core subjects - all D's and E's.  Apparently E is one grade up from F.  So yay for not completely failing?

Then there are 3 other uhhh certificates, I guess.  More than just a grade.  Two in travel and tourism, one in creative arts.  He's passed both but barely.  If I researched correctly (it's very confusing) he's passed both travel and tourism but at the lowest score possible.  Creative arts was passed at a slightly higher level.

For anyone in the UK who understands about BTEC's, perhaps you could help?  Both travel & tourism BTEC's he scored a P1.  Creative Arts BTEC he scored a P2.  I have read that P is a Pass.  However, P1 = GCSE grade D/E/F...so is it really a Pass??  P2 = GCSE grade C, so that's a pass.  Help me...I'm American and completely confused!!

DH didn't respond when I sent these results.  MAYBE, just MAYYYYYBEEEEE this will be the proof DH needs to stop babying SS?  Maybe he can see that it's no good to let him do what he wants but make him do what he NEEDS.

Doubt it, but it's free to hope.

I am sure that SS will find a way to spin that he is the victim and teachers are out to get him and he is bullied and no one understands him and blah blah blah. DH will fall for it and you get to keep riding this merry-go-round!

Oh SS tried that already but neither one if us believed that. His teachers were absolutely brilliant in helping him. He was shot down right away on that one.

E is the lowest you can go because an F would amke them feel bad.

Of course if they did the work they wouldn't get Fs and have cause to feel bad, but I'm just being logical, I suppose!

What the fuck is an E? The schools dont want to fail the little snowflakes so tjey give them an E. Thank God I quit teaching
