Front end damage is a mystery

Chmmy's picture

The car that SD16 drives has a mysterious dent on the front. DH says "someone hit the green car, there is a dent on the front". Before I could even say hmmm sd16 drives that car, he says sd16 said she didnt do it.

Well then it must be true.... How much anyone want to bet SD was pulling out of a parking spot and hit someone else's car and took off without taking responsibility. Skids dont need to take responsibility cuz dadddeeees fix everything.

I dont know if I would have had the nerve to lie to my dad like that at 16 but my dad was not stupid and DH is.

16 year olds should not have the keys to a car.

Thank God she was not in a serious accident.

I see a lot of kids with cars at the High School...they are zooming thru the HS parking lot like crazy. What are their parents thinking?? Is beyond me.

Oh. Princess has access to the car 24/7 because my husband lets her do whatever she wants. He drives my old car so she can have the better car and then she smacks another car and takes off. Entitlement

Hit and run is also ILLEGAL. Who's the title holder of the vehicle? Hopefully not you! If she did hit a car/other personal property, count her lucky nobody saw and reported it. That being said, most parking lots seem to have cameras.

This car is titled in DHs name. The other 2 are in my name and she doesnt drive my cars. If I knew where she was when she hit something I'd report it. She needs consequences.

I may be wrong but front end damage doesnt usually happen from sitting in a lot....on the passenger side by the headlight.

What?!? Why???? It should be the other way around. She's a new driver and should have the old car because of potential accidents? Not sure if SD is telling the truth or not about the dent on the car but I wouldn't worry about it. That's on your H, hopefully there won't be any more "dents".

His car is newer. Mine has 159,000 miles. She drives his car. I don't want skids in my car although i did let SD19 take it when her car was in the shop and then she dropped it at her grandmas house and never brought it back because ahe doesnt have time to get it between her hair and nail appointments

Oh yes. Becuase cars magically get dents for no reason and kids never lie. *eye roll.* Your SD did it. I'm fairly certain. Of course a teen is going to say she didn't do it. She'll get in trouble!!!
