So here I sit with a bad case of Scarlet Fever (strep with a horrible itchy rash all over). I am a bright red nightmare. Dh has strep too, though not as bad as me. Thank you darling SS for this gift. Thankfully the baby is fine (though she is teething and crabby). We got the release of info from the GAL today for DH to sign. GAL is requesting skids medical and school records as well as permission to speak to skids. This is, I'm sure, to rule out any abuse issues. I am quite certain BM is going to be pissed about this especially since the skids middle school doesn't even have her contact info. Frankly, I am happy this can of worms has been opened. I say let's get everything on the table (like how BM takes the skids with her on to accident scenes when BM is doing her vol. Fire dept gig) and then let the GAL decide. DH is convinced that BM will get to keep her crazy rotation but that he will then get 60% placement. I am trying to distance myself as much as possible from this. Where's that calamine lotion??!
