I need meds.

I probably really do. But I'm a control freak and think that's one thing I can control so I'd rather drive myself literally insane than admit I need someone/thing to help! Haha

Anyway. Tomorrow is the first official day of summer for the skids. DH had a list I made for him that included phone numbers and a list of questions to ask for summer daycares for them. He didn't call one. So tomorrow I will be responsible for breakfast, lunch, dinner, 2 snacks, and entertainment for 14 hours while DH is at work. Yeah, I've done Saturdays before but DH is off earlier on those days and it isn't that serious. Last summer they were in full day daycare. I told DH tomorrow is his one "free" day. If he doesn't find daycare tomorrow I'm taking them to the uber expensive one they're already enrolled in, and he can pay the 60$/day. I have to work Thursday night and will not have my nap time interrupted with having to make lunch and snacks and entertain them. I love them, but I love my job more. I love my sleep even more than both of those things :).

Okay I get it that people do this everyday. But the thought of this is making me so anxious. I've thought and rethought the meal plan at least 4 times now. My best friend text me earlier and said "give em pop tarts and lock em outside with some bottles of water!" haha. I love her. Of course I wouldn't do that, but it let me breathe a little in knowing it really isn't that serious. Heck my parents would lock us outside all day during the summer and we survived. I've implemented, and the skids know this already (we had a discussion tonight about summer behavior, chores, and what's expected), a no electronics rule from the time they wake up until lunch (they can watch cartoons for 30 minutes while eating breakfast/getting ready for the day), they then can watch television after lunch until 2 (about an hour) just because SD will take a nap if she sits down long enough to chill out, then no tv or electronics until after dinner. This may sound like still a lot but for kids who would sit in front of their computer/video games/tv all day like zombies, it will be an adjustment. I believe in letting kids run off heir energy and play outside when they can. It works wonders for behavior let me tell you. So anyway, we shall see how tomorrow goes. We will probably head over to my grandparents house at some point to save sanity. They have a pool, and that's where the skids spent most of their summer last year. It won't be that bad. I just needed to breathe a vent a little. Thanks for listening Smile

We have them every other week during summer too. All week during school, but they're I'm school all day so it isn't bad!! Haha. And yes, I just worry/over think about everything. What are we possibly going to do for 14 hours? What am I going to feed them? They barely eat the one meal (dinner) I actually cook every night for them! They're going to starve! Haha

I love parks, bikes, sprinklers, chalk, ect. I am anti video game and do not allow the girls to play them except special days, I have a wii. I think that out side play is best, after all they burn calories and stay at a heathly weight, they are half BM after all and she is over weight and has been her whole life, I am not mean for sending them out side, I am just looking after their health Wink

Yeah. SS7 is already awake, SD6 will sleep as long as I let her lol. But of course it's freaking raining outside!! DH fed the boy breakfast and told me he made another bowl of yogurt with fruit in the fridge for the girl when she wakes up. He tries sometimes I suppose :). Its suppose to clear up in a couple goes, and I'm thinking of heading to the farmers market with them. They love picking out their own stuff and coming home and fixing it to eat. At least that will fill a lot of the day as the farmers market is ab a 45 minute drive each way. Smile
