BD (2) told SD (12) to behave, lol

This weekend we only have our bd(2) and sd(12). My other two are with their dad. SD was up to her usual antics. She was actually rolling around on the living room floor whining that she wanted to have a sleepover. DH told her no as she didn't behave the last time she had one. She was saying "pleeeease, I want toooo, pleeease dadddy, you're so MEAN, I HATE you!!! Pleeeeease dadddddy, whyyyyyyyy?" over and over again.
It's sort of funny I guess if you don't have to actually witness it.

BD "Why is sd whinning mommy?"

Me "Because daddy said no and she thinks it will help change his mind."

SD glares at me "I'm not whinning."

BD "Stop whinning sd daddy said no!"

At this point I took BD and went to her bedroom but we could still hear everything.

SD "I'm not whinning!" at this point she starts to cry "oooohhhhh, I hate it here, ohhhhhhhhh, I hate it here."

BD "Why is sd crying mommy?"

Me "Because whinning didn't help so now she's going to start crying and see if that will help her get her way."

BD yelling to sd "No sd, daddy said no!"

SD went downstairs to her room and I laughed so hard on the inside that I could hardly contain myself.
I did speak to sd after that. I said she can act however she likes but she'll not be doing it in front of BD. She doesn't need to witness that.

LOL!!! Way to go BD!! I wonder if sd felt embarrassed that she got called out by a 2yo? Ss taught my kids the word 'crybaby' when he started visiting again. This summer during extended visit ss12 and ds4 would fight a lot- ss picked on ds. Well ss got mad once and started crying. Sure enough, ds called ss a 'crybaby' which made ss even more mad and he stormed out. I scolded ds but inside was laughing! Shouldn't have taught him that word ss, is what I wanted to say! Kids say the darnest things!
