Can I hurl now?

DH just asked me to get up and get him something...because he was texting with HHB and he didn't want to stop because she hasn't tried to talk to him since her birthday about 3 weeks ago! I just ignored him, and I could hear him over there talking to himself..."Yeah, she's so good at that!" I don't know what they were talking about, but his tone and look on his face was enough to make me want to hurl! It was like, "Oh, I'm so special that my daughter took time to chat with me!" I couldn't help but wonder...what does she want?! Oh, yeah...it's almost child support time again! BM probably told HHB to talk to her father so maybe he will give her the child support early!

I really hope they aren't over there making plans for her to come for a visit! This house has been so peaceful without her around!

It just can't stand how DH gets all giddy about HHB finally getting around to texting him. The girl treats him like crap! I'm not saying he has to treat her like crap back, but I wouldn't expect him to be so sickenly excited about a text! The best way to describe his response...imagine a girl really, really likes a guy and he asked for her phone number just that day...her reaction if he texts that evening...that is the way DH was acting.

Osweet...I know how you feel! HHB moved back to BM's 3 months ago when she got picked up by the cops for sneaking out past city curfew! DH finally put his foot down and took away all of her electronics, so she cried to BM that I'm a b***h and all dad ever does is yell at her. Before she moved out, it would be weeks between visits with BM! I would get so tired of her being around all the time...leaving her crap all over my home, dragging her feet everywhere she went, constant rude and disrespectful attitude, etc. Was so happy when she moved out, and have enjoyed the last 3 months being totally free of her! I'm just worried that BM's husband may start coming down on her again, and she will want to start coming over on weekends to get a break from him...that is if trouble stirs back up between her and her girlfriend. I don't mind if DH sees her...she is his daughter. I just hope they keep it to an occasional ice cream date or something and no more visits to my home! I'm done with the girl all the lies I found out she told, and the way she has treated the whole family the last 3 months!

What? DH can't walk in his own house and text at the same time? Is the cell plugged into the wall? No. ACT like you can't hear him. Or say you have to pee and leave the room.

Yes, it's hurl time. Here, let me help.

Exactly why I ignored his request! This is the man I'm always getting on to about texting and driving (I will not tolerate it if me or my bios are in the car...my bios get on to him about it, too), and he can't text and walk at the same time in a house we have lived in 11 years and he should be able to walk through blindfolded and not run into things? Poor HHB must have really been bored to text DH! Would he be so giddy if he knew she was only texting him because everyone else was "too busy to talk" to her?

Thank you sisters....it is good not to be alone, but guess what, it isn't just SDs and their delusional dads. It is SSs too! Although what is the difference now anyways with teenage boys acting just like little girls. My SS (50/50) is 16 and constantly texts my husband (literally a thousand times per month as I know from the phone bill). Honestly why does he bother to go to his mother's when he spends his whole time with her texting his dad? Of course I don't really mean that since every second without his disgusting body physically in my home is a blessing. My husband has become a 50 year old texting doof thinking he is cooler than cool because he texts with his kid. Nevermind SS is just like you describe, usually texting to ask for money or a ride or a favor or a gift of some sort that he doesn't deserve. Daddy is just so thrilled and honored and beside himself stupid happy that the kid is texting him. Once in awhile he will even Tweet him, which is probably even more lame. Hubby complains that HIS father who is 80 doesn't have a phone with text. Uh, hello, how about because grandpa has more class than that? Totally agree though, I want to vomit when I see my husband get his panties in a knot with excitment over SSs texts. I complained about how rude it is to be out with me and texting him, so guess what he does now....he goes to the bathroom about 5 times during the course of a dinner date, taking his phone with him. Gee, I wonder what he is doing in there? The ding ding ding response from the phone as soon as he gets back to the table isn't a clue is it? I swear I feel like my husband his having an affair the way he is constantly checking that stupid phone for that little bit of assurance that SS is still thinking of him. Hurl is a good word. It is so lame what these Disney dads mistake for love and affection. Ironically, when I text my husband, he suddenly didn't hear the phone or didn't feel the vibrations.....can he add more insult to injury? The kid is going to Europe this summer and daddy is already frantically checking the phone plan and making sure that skiddo will be able to text him every 5 seconds. It is no longer good enough to see the statue of David. Now you have to take a picture and text it to daddy...God knows daddy would rather be there with him than with me. Alone time with your wife? What's that? Did someone hear a ding? Was that a text? He makes it perfectly clear every second of the day that he would always rather be with SS than me, even a nasty text from him about nothing means more than a Caribbean beach walk with me. Sighhhhh...and hurl.

I don't think it is that bad with DH yet, but man, it is sickening how he perks up whenever HHB acknowledges his existence! But one thing is the same...I call or text...oh, the phone was in his pocket...didn't feel it go off, etc. Yeah right!
