I am looking for advice, I have a 22 year old step son who has always been a foul mouthed, rude step son to everyone. My husband has always ignored his behaviour and now he is 22 and still as bad as ever. He is in university. We pay for everything for him. He never returns emails to us, his brothers, etc. He never remembers birthday, etc... The only time he will contact anyone is when he needs money or will reply to an email asking hi what he wants for Christmas or birthday. He will order food at resturants and not touch it and say your rich you can afford it. He is just not a nice person. A friend of mine was telling hi about her son in the army and his deployment and as usual he says "that's nothing and starts talking about his friend" . He swears and no one in our house swears. We ask him not to and he argues with us.

We will not stop paying for his college as hat is not right but no matter how we approach him about responding to emails, remembering his brothers birthday or just being nice to people it never gets through.

Will it ever? What should I do?
