O/T sorta: Skids yelling "Yeah Baby!"

Madam Hedgehog's picture

We took the skids (5 and 2) to a New Years party last night at a friend's house. One of our friends at his son there who's about 8, and the skids spent the night playing video games with him.

Well, both the skids have started yelling "yeah, baby!" and "I'm ready for this, baby" and also "awesome, baby, yeah!"

I didn't notice until this morning when they wanted to play a video game together and they both started yelling at the screen--something they've never done before.

Anyway, it's hysterical to me, but I'm not sure what DH will make of it. Any similar stories?

My 4 year old says "Thanx Hon." to me sometimes and it's not a term of endearment I have ever used. lol

that's super cute. i wonder where she got it. i think the skids got this "yeah baby" thing from our friend's son, and he got it from his dead, our friend, who says it all the time to virtually everyone. it's just funny because they have such chipmunk voices.

My SD 3 1/2 will sweetly ask my DD 16 months "can I have that sweetheart?" when she wants something from her or says "what's wrong sweet girl?" if DD is fussing about something. They say copycating is a form of flattery, I guess SD must like me after all, lol.
