I'm new to the website and am so grateful for all the content available and unlimited support I see in here. I truly feel normal seeing my struggles are extremely common. I'm so grateful for this website. However, I'm struggling to understand all the acronyms, can anyone give me a rundown on the most common ones? Thanks for the help!
Main Ones
DH/SO = dear husband/significant other
SD/SS = stepdaughter/stepson, people often put numbers after. This is their age. Ex SD14 is a 14-year-old stepdaughter.
BM/BD = bio mom/bio dad (aka your partner's ex)
BS/BD = bio son/bio daughter (your own kids), and people often put numbers after to indicate age. An age after would help differentiate between your bio daughter (BD5) and the bio dad. Some people may also use DS and DD for dear son or dear daughter.
MIL = mother-in-law or your partner's mom.
HCBM equals high conflict
HCBM equals high conflict birth mother. Like to cause drama and court visits
GUBM equals Golden Uterus Birth mom. Thinks she's all that and demands to be worshipped.

CO - Court Order
EOW/EOWE - every other week/every other weekend in reference to a visitation schedule
Won/Woff - week on/off
