SD wnats an internet friend to sleep over for the weekend

My SD wants someone she has met on the internet to sleep over for the weekend. She says she knows this girl well enough and trusts her.
I am not comfortable with this especially with my one and a half year old in the house. To me it seems ridiculous and was wondering if anyone else thinks I am wrong.

That is hilarious. Seriously. She is old enough to know that is a stupid idea. Tell her when she has her own place she can have whoever she wants over, regardless of how dangerous it could be. But since this isn't her house, then no strangers over. And anyone you and dh do not know IS a stranger, despite how much sd trusts them.

What a dipship SD! Of course the answer should be "NO!" But not only that, I'd tell her that "you're 19, not 9. You don't even get friends to sleep over at your age. Grow up!"

I wonder if she has any idea that I am looking out for the best interests of the whole family. She seems to think I am against her and she cannot see past what she wants to see. I do not get kids today.

Um, if she wants sleepovers she can get an apt and pay her own rent. She's grown and you have the right to not have other grown people over around your small children who you do not know.
