Thank You Again

Thank you DH for once again making me feel like second class citizen in my home. Your son is a piece of work and is never going to respect me or listen to me, because you dont make him. He makes a calculated decision to treat me like shit because there is no.consquence for him when he does. Why would he change his behavior, when all he is recieving is a simple lecture and a "next time there will be consquence," this is not working to change the behavior. If what you are doing was working this would not still be a problem. Please stop promising that next time there will be a consquence. I dont believe you, there are no consquences for him, ever, but most especially not when it comes to me. And stop telling him there will be consquences next time, he doesnt believe you either.

Why wait for your husband to check his kid? When his actions impact you (disrespect, not listening to you...) you should deal with him directly.

The child has learned that neither adult will do anything when he is rude to you.

I WISH that had been an option for me. Whenever I dared discipline I would be cut down and chewed out in front of the little fucker.

Not only am I not willing to listen the shitstorm that will ensue if i dare step up and take care of it, not by DH, but by his family and the childs mother as soon as it gets back to her, but this child has severe mental issues and Im not going to risk him hurting me or seeking out revenge on me by hurting my two children that are half his size. And if he decides to hurt me he is as big as me and could do some real damage if he wanted and Im not willing to risk it, because one day Im afraid he really is going to hurt me. Why take the risk when he has a daddy that ought to step up to the plate and defend me. But I guess expecting that is living in a dream world.
