SD9 giving my things to BM

WWSMD's picture

I have noticed a few of my items have come up missing. A hair brush and comb set, lipbalm, Facial soap and a purse. I had a sneaking feeling that SD9 had something to do with the disappearance of said items because she shown an interest in the particular items in question. DH called and asked SD if she had taken the items and she denied ever touching them. I left it at that and decided to put my things away next visit.

Well at a church event this morning BM shows up wearing my purse on her arm. I asked her about it and she said she had purchased that purse for SD. I felt heat rising inside me but I tried to keep my cool. This is not a common purse it is a pink and cream purse with a lace trim and vintage beading that I found at a thrift shop in another city. I personalized this purse by adding a butterfly pin to the front pocket in memory of my grandmother so I know that is my purse. I wanted to rip it off of her arm but I kept my composure. I know it is just an item but it is not hers to claim.

But what can I do now other than sulk and put my things away the next weekend SD9 and her brothers come to visit.

SD needs to be punished and bring said items back! Your sh needs to set her straight on stealing or it will get worse. That us what you do other then sulking. Don't let her get away with that meanness.

Try? Please tell him he will get it back or you will file charges. That should light a fire under his ass.

that kid would not have shit in my house ever again! no toys, no nothing! let her go without her things for awhile and see how she likes it! i'm with everyone else on the purse, i would let bm know that you KNOW it's yours and she can either return that along with everything else or you will be filing theft charges.

Wow. That's just some white trash business there, accepting her daughters stolen goods from the SM.

Though I bet the kid lied and told her that she bought that for mommy or she wouldn't have worn the purse to church where you'd be.
