O/T Here We Go Again!! (Vent about Direct TV and NFL Sunday Ticket)
Chef LOVES football. I mean really reallly REAAALLLLLLY LOOOOOVES FOOTBALL!!!
EVERY.FRIGGIN.YEAR DirectTV automatically adds NFL Sunday Ticket. Now Chef and I got into a MAJOR argument at this time a couple of years when I mentioned that DirectTV automatically put it back on again.
His argument is he's "worth it!" (insert eyeroll)
Well I just bought a brand new tractor with all the trimmin's and I don't feel like pissing anymore money out the window.
I called up DirectTV and they've raised their prices on NFLST again but offered me a GREAT deal of $1 more a month than last year.
I told her I could pay no more than $20 extra a month. So she's cancelling.
Oh well. }:)
It should be an OPTION not put on automatically every year!!

I'm just going to shrug my shoulders. If need be, I'll keep calling until I can get someone to give it to me for $20 a month. Then again, an intern here told me he just gets a VPN connection overseas and streams all the games. . . worth looking into.
One of the Drs in our office
One of the Drs in our office is a college football nutso certifiably crazyman. And i know this will be all I hear about for the next 6 months. I think I will cut my wrists and save myself some time.
I dread football season and
I dread football season and all it encompasses. Most especially fantasy football for which life begins and ends for my SO. And we live in Africa! Gahhhhhhh

Yep me too! Bioson and his fiancee also love football but they take it for what it is. ENTERTAINMENT!
Chef? Not so much. He literally "huddles" in front of the TV as though he were back in his "glory days" playing football for high school (didn't prevent him from dropping out though--do I see a trend here?)
He'll be almost like in virtual reality--yelling, screaming poking at the TV as though they can hear him. It's positively DERANGED!!!
