Once A Guilty Daddy
Always a Guilty Daddy. At least in my case. As you know my elder cat passed on 2/27. Chef and I were talking about her and I thought it would be "safe" to bring up the fact that several years back, the vet xrayed her for something else and told me that she had a bee bee in her butt near the base of her tail. I had petted her long before Chef and his ferals came along (she predated them by 2 yrs) and never felt that little lump. The brats had a bee bee gun at my house and I caught them almost shooting each other. I also caught SD and YSS kicking her. I also witnessed SD shoot a live frog in the eye.
I told Chef just now that many years back, the vet found a bee bee in her butt. Chef IMMEDIATELY blamed the kid next door!!! That kid didnt even HAVE a bee bee gun when the xray was taken. He's 2 yrs YOUNGER than YSS! He then acted PISSED that I implicated SD!!! He ranted on about that would never happen on HIS watch! Which is laughable! I cant tell you HOW MANY times I came home to the ferals COMPLETELY unsupervised by Chef and starting to cause destruction and mayhem!!!
And this is after the brats have completely shit in his face and PASed out!!! I can only imagine the fresh hell if they were still coming!! If any of you oldsters here still remember, Chef would have won Disney Dad of the CENTURY!!!

That it couldn't have happened because he was always supervising them. Bullshit. He always thought they were so well behaved that they didn't need much supervision. Actually they were so bad that my DD noticed.

I’ve told DH point blank if my cat ever gets shot by one of the boys BB guns (lord knows why they need them in the first place), the guns will be smashed to a million pieces & I don’t care if the kids see me do it. They’d also get torn a new one by me & I’d be putting the fear of god into them. My tolerance for violence to an animal is zero.
The boys are total animal lovers though & absolutely adore the cat, I can’t ever see them doing this. But DH has been warned!

Any feral brat who even LOOKED at one of my fur babies the wrong way would be ripped a new one! I have ZERO tolerance for anyone who mistreats an animal!
