I need noise cancelling headphones.
SD 11 is/has been with us all weekend. She's had a friend over, which I normally prefer because then she gives her dad and I at least a little privacy being busy with her friend, but I seem to forget that the downside of this is how LOUD she is when she has a friend over. Constantly screaming/yelling, thumping, crashing things all over. The fake "falling/sliding/tripping" for reactions then bursting out in booming laughter constantly. Messing with the dog to get him all worked up/barking and just the general NON STOP TALKING between them.
I literally want to scream SHUT THE F*** UP at the top of my lungs!
Luckily we're leaving to take her to her basketball game soon so at least mom takes her from there and I just have to sit in the stands with her dad and my family.

Plant her nose in a corner each time she gets loud.

Her friends will fix her shit if you make it uncomfortable enough.
So, invoke the escalating state of misery for her through her being humiliated in front of her friends.
Her behavior is the problem. So confront the behvior. Why ignore it or hide from it?

I love my noise cancelling headphones. I hardly ever listen to music on them. I just put them on to sleep or when we used to take car rides /vacations with all 3 sd's, who would constantly bicker and shriek at eachother in the backseat. They come in handly for New Years eve and July 4th fireworks too, when your neighbors are trying to set your house on fire with their RPG's. LoL.
