Should I tell him? How do I tell him?? Help!!!!!

Yesterday,bd and her BFF were reorganizing her closet(which shares a wall with ss's room) and they heard him moaning, not hearing the tv, they asked him if he was ok,he didnt respond, they heard again and asked if he needed me(fh was at work) he told them in his mean annoying voice to mind their own business! They immediately busted out laughing, told me, and I couldn't help but chuckle and said "he's at that age".Later, that afternoon bd and BFF decided to hang posters. They heard moaning again accompanied with "that's the spot" which sent them into shrieks of laughter. They came hauling ass to tell me.Omg!! I couldn't stop laughing but after a few hours of them cracking jokes I told them to quit it was getting old. I then realized ss never came out of his bedroom it was 5pm and he had only used the toilet once.(that I knew of anyway)I didn't even get my daily nag from him!!!! So....... Do I tell fh????? Ya know,fh sometimes sleeps with him and who knows or cares how he handles his "business"! So gross!!!!!! But, not sure if I would want to lay in his bed lol..... Any advice ??????Not sure how to sensitively bring it out. Or if I should even bother.BTW, I asked ss if he had any laundry for me he said no.

That is too funny. Honsetly I would just leave it alone. I wouldn't even bother telling DH. It may be a bit awkward to talk to him about that beings it is his son. Your DH will probably see for himself. He will notice him not coming out of his room, etc. I just would leave it alone. Oh the joys of having a boy.... :O

um say nothing. DH and I have already discussed this issue. I don't want to know. As long as he doesn't monopolize my bathroom I don't care. Also if he's "at that age" he's old enough to do his own laundry. So you should never have to know anything.

This made me laugh out loud at work. I'm sure people think i'm nuts laughing at myself! Blum 3

i would tell fdh. But i would only tell him to mention to his son, that he is a little too loud. Not to embarass the kid, but to make him aware so that he doesn't become embarassed in the future. It is fdh place to approach his son about it.

LOL i've had this convo with my bs. oh yes, i said "dude, I know you know what's up. i know you know that i know what's up. keep it in the shower." ha ha ha I was serious though. His response was "ugh mom, i don't do that."
I'm thinking, yeah okay son. I replied, "okay, whatever. All I'm sayin is that you will have the most privacy in the shower. it doesn't leave a mess" LOL I thought he was gonna die after i said that. ha ha ha

I said one last time, "look son i'm serious. i understand your age. weather you do or don't, i don't care. it's not my business. All i'm sayin is that I don't want to run into any evidence in your room. so if you stick to the shower, your good. BUT since i know, what i know cause i'm older, i'm just letting you know that i will always knock before entering your room, and not pester you in the shower."

"fine mom. can you go now so i can play my video game?"

LOL

I am so happy some of you got a good chuckle!!! Laughing is truly one of my passions!! Ss is 12 ,bd10, BFF11.Little ducks in a row!! Lol,what's funny is that a couple years ago when ss had that embarrassing health class and asked fh what a wet dream was fh said it was peeing in your sleep! Not quite sure how ss(10 at the time)fell for that but dh was not ready for that talk and I argued about it. I laugh at all the silly things I "learned" about sex from friends and such that I promised when the subject comes up (which it has for bd) I will "tell all" let it come from ME is my feeling. Knowing fh wants to treat and act as if ss12 is a toddler and reading the responses,THANKS!!!!, I think I am gonna hold off on telling fh but, if the problem persists I know now how to approach fh! Again thank you all! Fh sleeps with ss because he "just has to spend as much time as he can with ss" I blog about that a lot! It's so annoying!! I also have two bs's 7&8. Ohhh, man is it gonna get interesting!! Lmao!

My dd (8 at the time) asked me one day if I knew what a wet dream was... I said yes, do you? She promptly explained to me what it was...

I asked where she had learnt this - at personal development class at school!!! I went along to the info sessions re the PD classes (all levels do them and the info given is SUPPOSED TO BE AGE APPROPRIATE!!!) What I wanted to know was WHO thinks 8 year olds (and girls for that matter) need to know about wet dreams?

I complained to the school who were a bit taken aback and explained that the classes are run by the family planning org. and that course content wasn't decided by the school, but that they weren't aware that was in it. And that perhaps someone in the class was a bit advanced and asked the question, so the person taking the class felt obliged to give a full answer?

I was highly annoyed!! There are some things I think that can wait until they are older, and we wonder why our kids are becoming sexuallised at younger and younger ages!

Just out of curiousity, (having no boys but a ss8) at what age do they start ummmm, doing this?

I say tell your DH ONLY because he should know that is son is at that "dirty sock" age. That's the only reason. just like you would want to know when your DD started getting her period. Just means it's time for him to have a fatherly talk with him about being responsible and what's appropriate and to dispose of his dirty tissues, towels etc. properly so that the women of the house don't get grossed out.

BTW "that's the spot" HILARIOUS! Sounds like he's got a... good handle on things. hahahahahhah

OMG! I am dying reading these comments! I have 2 boys at home that are 6 and already talk about "sexy women"! I am going to move out when they reach the "dirty sock" age! I won't be able to handle it! Wink

oh yuck yuck yuck, ss left his dirty socks on the lounge room floor on Sunday (I left them there as I am sick of picking up after him) Even more not going to do that now....
