Congratulations on finishing S-1 and completing your tech training. Great job. I am proud of you and the man you are working hard to become. Keep your head in the game when you get to Goodfellow and enjoy yourself. You will be a very highly trained professional when they get done with you in San Angelo. Not that I would know that you graduated since I got no call or e-mail. Good thing your mom told me. Don't forget your dad here in Qatar kid. I am here a long way away and we need to make sure we are staying in contact. Staying in touch where ever whe each happen to be is important. That is how your Deema and Deepa and my brother and I did it when they were in Saudi and we were in college in the states when we were your age. You and your mom and I can be just as close as a family though we are geographically far apart.

So, when you get to Goodfellow I recommend that you look in to transferring your CCUSAF Keesler credits to a university at Goodfellow and get cracking on your english/math/science/history for your undergrad. Start with just one class at a time kid and when you are comfortable bump up to two and it will go pretty quickly.

You can be a Pirate with your mom...... arghhhhhh! Very cool. You will be there long enough to finish your BS. I recommend a BS in Management. Your mom has done very well with her BS Management/Accounting from Park as her foundation and it is a very good school. They have 5 week terms which go pretty fast and should keep you from getting bored. And .... you get paid while you are there. Might as well have the AF pay you to do your job and pay for your education. You can save your GI Bill/College Fund money for your masters or Ph D. when you retire if you do not get a graduate degree while you are in. Hint, hint, hint!!!!!!

I did not set you up with the Park thing. I just googled "colleges at goodfellow afb" while I was writing this letter and Park U. popped up. Must be destiny kid.

I spoke to your mom yesterday. She said you got your leave and will be heading to Oregon before reporting to San Angelo. I am glad that you will get to see you mom before she leaves to join me in Qatar. You should spend as much time with her as you can. We won't be spending much time together except for our annual home leave each year unless you come visit us periodically in Doha........ which you WILL do right?????

When do you plan on picking up your car? I am sure Deema and Deepa would appreciate it being out of their driveway. I would give them a call and arrange spending Thanks Giving with them and picking up your ride. Then you can visit them on weekends or head over to Roswell to visit your friends and the staff at NMMI.

How do you get your stuff from Keesler to Goodfellow? Do they ship it or do you have to carry it while on leave? I am not familiar with how the AF does change of duty station stuff. Tell me about S-1. What kind of stuff did you study? Based on our previous discussions I believe it is on IT security stuff.
