Court Date last week...

The TPO hearing got moved to this Thursday. We went, FDH's attorney filed a conflict notice (he had another case in the AM), he kept checking in with the clerk of court, but there was no way he would make it, so after three hours of sitting there and my skin crawling from being in BM's vicinity, we left. Here IS what transpired
-BM paled upon seeing me there
-BM followed a crowd into the WRONG courtroom, unfortunately, she came into the right one during a case before ours.
-She kept looking back at us, she was a row in front of and on the other side from us, there was no mistaking her having to turn her body to give us death glares.
-During the other cases she kept gasping at the thought of other mothers wanting to be away from their SO's but not keep the kids away from their dads.
Above was the amusement. Here was the just plain WTH
-When she found the courtroom, she asked the judge to approach the bench in the middle of another case, she (judge) said no.
-While on break waiting for a witness in another case to enter the courtroom, she again asked to approach the bench, the judge said no. She left the room for a moment, the baliff came in and we could hear her saying that BM was persistent about speaking to the judge, the judge said "I have cases, I'm not stopping to chat with her, she will have to wait her turn."
-Judge had us go contact the attorney to make sure he wasn't going to be able to make it due to the time of the day. She asked if there was any objection to hearing the case next week and BM said "YES I object, due to the severity of the situation, we need to get this resolved NOW"
Judge: Ms BM, Mr FDH has retained an attorney, lawyers don't control courts, his counsel kept in contact with court and FDH has a right to that counsel. What day is best for you next week Ms BM?
BM: (Eyes wide stuttering: I may have a conflict. I GUESS this same time next Thursday
Judge: Ok

We wait 15 min for bailiff to come escort us out after escorting her out. After coming up the hallway to the lobby to get our belongings, SHE IS STILL THERE AT THE CHECK IN STATION, talking to a police officer and making sure we heard her attempting to get permission to speak with the judge after the cases were over for the day!!!!!! We turn around, walk away until we are out of her view, and a few moments later see her being escorted to another section of the lobby so we can FINALLY leave.

That was just court. I'll blog shortly about the big banb the next day.
