My DH says I say too much and he gets overloaded. I have learned NOT to chitchat with him (which I am not big on anyway), to make my point early and then STOP talking, to really get him to HEAR when it is important! Men seem to get overwhelmed and it is easy to go on too long.

I have trained him over the years to at least acknowledge that he hears me, because I will keep saying it different ways until he does! He would like to ignore and then say he doesn't know, but that doesn't work for me. }:)
