So was the original Post that people are saying got them banned removed?? I have read some crazy shit from some crazy people and they sure as hell didn't get banned. Such BS.

Wow...Admin has not went on a banning spree in a long time. I wonder what changed. IMHO...the only time someone should get banned is because they threaten another poster. That is the only reason. Not just because someone was rude or does not have the same belief system as others.

They have never given warnings before. And I fear if blogs like this keep popping up, admin will shut the site down for about a month or so just so this all stops. (has happened before).

Actually, they have given warnings in the past. I know someone who got a warning for calling another poster a name. She was told that the name calling wasn't cool and if it didn't stop she'd be banned.

Exactly. I don't think flagging really gets people banned...I always flag the spam in hopes that there's some kind of "certain number of flags and it's deleted" thing built into the website but those spammers stay up forever. And I know a lot of us flag the spam.

That's insane. It's a website. People are crazy. I heard references to "mean girls". Made me laugh... Visions of Pinky Tuscadero with a leather jacket... vs. Sandra Dee. What is this high school? Seriously - grow up. If you don't like what someone's selling, move along.

These are the same people that want softball games where no scores are kept... We are ALL Winners!! Um, no - clearly that's not the case....

I have NEVER flagged anyone. Why did you flag her? Just because she was rude and mean? Or did she threaten someone? IMHO...they need to take off the flag option. People flag other people just because they don't like them. Im pretty sure that is what happened to ditz and former.

I admit it...I FLAGGED SOMEONE!!! Hahaha

It was totally by accident. Somehow while I was trying to hit reply I hit flag as offensive. I felt horrible about it. I just clicked on it again and it removed it.
And exactly what Sally said....WTF is all the ads doing on here??? Im sure if you can remove multiple members with one click you can clear off that crap!

There is a lot of weird, messed up stuff going on right now.
I discovered last night that a blog of mine from the other day, a blog in which a lot of the banned participated was flagged and deleted. It makes no sense at all, there was no drama, it was just a fun blog about guessing a posters indentity by their comments before actually clicking to see who it is.

So odd.

Yep, that was the one. I'm assuming someone got butt hurt even though there was absolutely nothing insulting or offensive posted about anyone.

I believe that there should be a standard operating procedure for this site.

1. First you receive a notice stating that your blog/post/comment x got flagged (maybe how many flags?). Please note that this is against the rules blah blah to give the benefit of the doubt to people that might not actually mean to be offensive or whatever
2. You get an official warning from mod/site owner
3. You get booted

Right now it is pretty arbitrary. Some people get warnings and never get booted. Some get booted with no warning. And the spammers live to spam another day.
