My late40s husband lost his job almost 2 years ago. Now he works 4 jobs and does 90% of skids care. I shop, clean, do laundry but don't do much more except random prizes and hugs.

Husband wamted to take a skid off medicaid and put him on my insurance. I totally disagree. I would end up carrying this new dependent until I retire in 20 years. I'm not sure I can work full time for thay long for the best insurance rates. And the cost alone would be 10k to 40k. I need that money for retirement, and in case pur marriage doesn't survive the teen years. Behavior problems are rampant already

dont do this, I did and it is now going to be a nightmare since my compnay has changed its benefit plans. I have both DH as well as SD on my plans. Now since DH is gainfully employed he has to either take his insurance for both of them or I have to pay double my premium. Ill do that for him (because financially it is smarter) but she can go on state aid. Im not paying "extra" for her no way no how
