Pee Pee McGee PART II

mrsparks's picture

Umm Ok, so I take my son to get his baseball pics and then DH & I decide that we'll take the boys to the mall for lunch and to get them both a belt, which they have needed for about a month now.
So first we stop at World Market to get this delicious wine that we both love and as I'm getting SS out of the car, guess what???
He has saturated his pants COMPLETELY..
DH was livid as we didn't want to have to go back home and
smacked him on the ass a good time.
He ran over to a nearby store to get him another pair of undies and shorts so we wouldn't have to go back home and said if it was a different circumstance he would have made him stay in them all day..
I personally would have made him stay like that, he pissed in the booster seat too, second one this year! WTF.. Seriously..
I CAN'T TAKE THIS KID!!!
We threaten him, we've tried positive reinforcement and NOTHING works!
What am I to do?

You should consider having a doctor look at him. This might be something that only medication can cure.

Is there something that is stressing him out, i.e. tension between DH and BM, having to go back and forth between both of his homes, etc.? I had a similar problem as a kid, due to stress. Eventually, I got put on medication to decrease my stress, and that has helped considerably.

Has BM done anything in the way of potty-training him? Were there any inconsistencies/differences between DH & BM on potty-training? That could also be why he is doing this...

Nevertheless, I do think you should call his doctor and ask for his/her advice on this situation, and make an appointment for him if necessary.

When she wasn't getting him kicked out of his daycare/preschools with her nasty attitude, I understand that potty-training was still an issue with him.

We had it down pat "so i thought at one point" I even had him very well trained on the #2 issue, which he has had a problem with.

I am almost positive the child is very stressed, he bites his nails down to the cuticle..

Because I too thought that it was a uti or bladder infection, the dr. said he was 100% and that nothing was wrong.

Well he pooped his pants a few times too and not to be gross, but it was formed and not loose- so I don't know why he would push that out into his pants-

We had it going pretty well and then it's like he keeps regressing-I'm at a loss - I think Mommy can care less and therefore doesn't pay him any attention and we he first comes to our house he's still in no-one caring mode..
