Are insurance deductibles considered uninsured expenses?

BM is refusing to pay a small dentist bill because it is a result of DH's insurance deductable.

The CO states that she is responsible for the first $100 of uninsured medical expenses before the cost is split to income portion.

Is the deductible still considered uninsured expense?

Yes she pays 50% of what the insurance doesn't cover. Insurance has a deductible before it covers things.. means she pays 50% of the deductible costs too.
