SD had her interview with HUD and was told there might be an apartment ready by the end of June, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel. She also has her own transportation now, so DH and I are no longer the taxi service and she gets to find out just how expensive gas is. However, my jaw about hit the floor when DH asked her if she would take him somewhere today so I could have the car for work, thereby allowing him to sleep in for a change and she was unwilling to do it! She said he could take her car since she didn't have to work, but she didn't want to drive him. Naturally DH told her "nevermind" and when I asked him about it this morning, he said that he didn't want to take her car since she had only had it about 12 hours. Besides, he said, she would probably want to wash it, anyway. WTF??? Why can't he stand up to her? I know he is as frustrated as I am with her, but he won't tell her! All she had to do was take him over to his buddy's place and I was going to pick him up, but she can't do that for him and he can't tell her how ridiculous that is.

I know that he is trying to make up for lost time with her, but he wouldn't stand for anyone else to treat him this way. And I don't want to say anything else about her because I haven't been able to say anything positive since she moved in. Oh, and in a previous post I said she was doing nice things, but I wasn't holding my breath about it lasting...well, I was right, she is right back to square one.

Thank goodness it is 3:00 and my students are gone. I can finally get this off my chest. I think that I am going to go home and have a nice glass of wine.
