FH and I went over to my brother's house tonight after we dropped SS9 off at football practice so FH could check out a hot tub my bro picked up. SD13 wasn't supposed to be home till 7:30 pm...although she got home early...about 6:30 and called me to tell me she was home...which is what we expect her to do if we aren't home and she gets home when nobody is there... Well while FH and I were at my bro's house his ex was constantly calling and asking where we were and whatnot. When we got home Sd13 tells us that her BM was calling her constantly too and asking where FH and I were and what we were doing. Apparently BM asks her all the time what we do, where we go, etc. SD was pretty upset and she even said that she doesn't understand why BM always asks about what FH and I are doing however we never ask about what her mom and step-dad are doing... I know she hates being in the middle of that so I told her that I've been in the same situation and you just have to tell your mom that if she wants to know anything then she needs to talk to her dad. I talked to FH after our conversation and as soon as the skids went to bed he called BM and laid into her! It was coming for a long time and probably should have been said sooner rather than later... but the bottom line it was said among a lot of other things.... Go FH!
