So annoyed

Left out mama's picture

I don't know what my problem is. my SD10 is annoying the life out of me. She constantly has to ask stupid questions... "what does that mean?" Is like every other thing out of her mouth.
She has been such a complete ditz lately. This morning I asked her if she needed to use the bathroom before I jumped in the shower. She responded... "I don't brush my teeth until after breakfast" I told her "no, I'm asking if you need to go to the bathroom" response "I can't brush my teeth until after I eat"

yesterday her dad told told her to get in on the other side of the car  because there was stuff in the seat she normally sits in. (she usually sits in the back passenger seat, he was telling her to get in the passenger seat behind the drivers seat.) she could not for the life of her figure out what that meant. She ended up getting in on the drivers side...sliding over and trying to figure out how to still sit in her normal seat.

we'll be watching tv and she'll start laughing hysterically at jokes she doesn't understand or when she THINKS there was a joke... when there was not a joke. When I say laughing hysterically, I mean like fake over the top fake laugh. Like really theatrical.

I know she's only 10, but I swear somedays I just want to ask her "what the hell is wrong with you?"

im  not an evil person, I just feel so impatient somedays with how ditzy and akward she is.
somedays I just have no patience. Other days I feel like I would go to war for her.

Am I the only one who goes through the back and forth ?

I often felt that way about one of my granddaughters.  Some kids just go thru weird phases.  She is 29, still marches to the beat of a different drummer but is married,  employed and just bought a house.  Take deep breaths.

Any chance she has auditory processing issues? My niece has that and she has a hard time following directions or understanding some things without a lot of repetition. She would ask what a lot until she began to feel bad about doing that and then would say nothing (but not do correctly what was asked).
