So, it has been a week since I spoke to fiance and things have definitely taken a turn for the better...To start off, my house is CLEAN!!! OMG! And the skids were home Monday & Tuesday. This is a first for me because usually I get home and have to clean up the dining table or mop the floors cause they spilled stuff everywhere. We have also spoken to them about the new rules and we told them that when my BD was home this weekend, we would be discussing all the new house rules.

So far, its going good...I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the house stays clean.

My skids aren't all that bad. They respect me a lot more than they respect anyone else including their dad but at the end of the day, they aren't mine and when it comes down to it, I still don't feel gratitude for the little things I do like bake them cookies and get them junk food.

Mother's Day was Sunday, we got them on Monday, neither of his kids wished me a Happy Mother's Day but hey, beggers can't be choosers right and we have made some progress in the past week and since I've been in their lives they have changed their attitudes. My SS used to be way brattier until one day I told him his smart mouth had to stop.

So, for today there are no complaints. Things are better so far.
