Just not that in to you

I remember when the book and movie " He's just not that into you" was popular. I never read or saw the movie, but it was obvious that men in general understood and had practiced the avoidance, use you if there was a benefit techniques. I did see a few talk shows on the subject and it appeared that most men including my DH were aware of the tricks guys play and questioned if women were really so dense they could not see when a guy was just not that into the relationship.

So here it is Father's Day. Wonder if any father's have had the light bulb go off in their brain that says " The kids----just not that into you."

It is sad, we married when both of us had grown children. Once again this is a year of no cards from his own children or grandchildren. Last year he did get a call from his ex and she put the grandchildren on to wish him a happy fathers day. Otherwise ---just another day.

How many wives are wondering "Are men really so dense they can not see when children are just not into a relationship with dad.

Probably a lot of these dads should have been a lot more into the kids when the kids were growing up and are now reaping what they sowed.

I agree Bookish, my FDH's oldest two were PASed and are the most hateful SDs. But since their BM rewards them for it that makes it ok. Smile
