Does anyone Wake up Depressed because of Skids?

FMSL's picture

Does anyone else wake up just plain depressed about being a SM/SF? Most mornings, the moment I open my eyes and realize I'm still in step-Hell, a big depression cloud comes hanging over my head. When I'm asleep, I can be in denial. When I wake up, the reality just sucks. My SD has caused both DH and I so much pain and it's getting worse as her needs are more expensive and demanding.

Yep, me too. SD isn't even that bad. We have a few rules, not many and not hard. But she's an airhead and just keeps f***ing up, day after day! She runs her plans past us, we tell them they're silly for reason x,y and z, she agrees and then goes ahead with it all. Moron!

I just run out of steam, another day, another f*** up! More money, time and life spent on unappreciative shits.

I've been under a dark cloud lately too. I hate it, and SO hates it for all the same reasons too, but he loves them. I don't think I do. Id be happy to kick them out and reclaim my life and my house.

Yes I wake up depressed about my skid situation and it's impact on my own child bearing unfortunately. The depression is especially bad at the weekends when one of the brats is here but is there most days as well

I feel your pain. The only mornings that I don't wake up depressed are those rare ones where I leave AHH and SS in the dust and just get me and my kids ready and out the door- never even acknowledging that AHH and SS live there }:)

HUGS! I know I couldn't be a full-timer. It already feels like I'm in prison on the days skid comes.
