Court tomorrow, should I go?

BM tried to get a PPO against SO last month and the judge denied it. She claims he is a 'flight risk' for SD3. Funny because it was HIS idea to have in the new CO that NEITHER parent can take the child out of state without the other parents permission. He is not a 'flight risk' because he has a job, house, other kids, and no reason to leave the area. She is trying to claim this and that and she is afraid of him.

Tomorrow is court and my name is mentioned in the protection order but the order is not in my name. Should I go? I am supposed help a friend watch her son tomorrow but if I had to could get out or have someone fill in while I am at court.

BM said that she is 'afraid' of me and doesn't know if I am abusive to SD3 or not. My name is not on the order and there was nothing entered in my name. it's all in SO's name.

DO I go to support SO or do I let him do it on his own. I am afraid if I don't go then I won't be able to stand up for myself if she tries to attack me. I think this is also going to be funny because she lied and said SO was arrested and he wasn't for the incident. She is trying to claim that he refused to give SD back to her.

CO states that he gets her EOW, Thrusday and Wednesday of each week overnights and it states plain as day, non custodial parent has memorial day and custodial parent has labor day. I am interested how she is going to say that Memorial Day should have been hers. It's clear as day and even if she wants to argue something then she should have had the whole weekend with her and not just the date per CO the holiday's go from Friday till Monday.

If it helps you at all. I was named in a OOP basically main excuse filled with lies. My husband is the person who it was issued against for texting HIS CHILDREN. I went to Court and the Judge wouldn't allow me to step toward the bench. It was filled with nonsense and she could see thru it. I understand what you mean about defending yourself, however your husband is the person named and I doubt the Judge will even allow you to speak.
