So this weekend ended up being really fantastic! i think we are slowly getting there! On friday night SS 7 was sick so we just had a ngiht in watching movies. All up on the couch and SD- 7 wasnt trying to get all the attention and SS - 10 was being so chatty and explaining some new games he got and how to play.

i am a makeup artist and had a wedding on saturday so i was getting everything ready, and out of everything i have been trying to connect with them, makeup really got them interested!! they jumped down on the floor and went through my kit and asked what every brush did and what everything was, they where laughing and giggling. So in the morning as i was leaving for the wedding they where saying have a great time! come back and show us pictures etc...

Then on sunday we all went down to the beach and built sand castles and played with some toys.They all included me, all passing the ball to me and playing games we we all had a really lovely time. Even when they left they ran down to say good bye!

lets hope this keeps up and the connection gets stronger, they are lovely kids and i do want to be apart of them growing up and not freak out when they come over... because its now school holidays and they are here for the next 2 weeks!!! so i hope everything improves!

FDH even cooked me a big roast dinner for tea on sunday night, he is also really trying now i think he has gotten the message big time
