HOLY CRAP AGAIN! CPS!

So my husband just called me from work and let me know that CPS has been called again! His ex wife complained on us again. This make 25 times since July of 2010!! I am so angry!! This dumb B**** last called after Thanksgiving break. She thinks in her stupid head of hers that by calling she will get custody of the children. No suprise she made the complaint one month before her summer visitation begins!! How do we stop this. One lawyer told us that she has the parental right to insure her children are being cared for. How about call your children woman and check on them instead of calling CPS! Hell she hasn't called this house since last October! It's crazy no complaint ever has come back founded. Why is this allowed to contuine!? How do we stop her!?

In our state you can report anonymously. Even though we and they know BM is the one calling, there's nothing they can do bc it's anonymously. Even if she didn't report anonymously they have told us they would never get anyone in "trouble" over it bc they don't want to discourage anyone from reporting real issues out of fear. It sucks and is shitty. Really, and I'm sorry you're having to deal with this. Luckily for the past few times BM has called CPS on us, we've had the same case worker and she doesn't even come to the house anymore. She goes and speaks with DH either on the phone or at work, makes him take a drug test, and leaves it at that.

we normally get the same case worker and normally they never even come to the house since he knows our situation. The kids are interviewed and from that it normally doesn't go further. This time since she's married military she is using a military unit that works at our local base. I guess she figured she would try a different approach since the normal office doesn't do it for her. I dont know about that im not to familiar with that office even though both myself and husband is prior service. I dont even bring it up to the s- kids if i did ss11 would just tell her about it during visitation that i was worried and That would just egg her on more.

I know they don't have juristiction and we are civilians now! Knowing her she told them he was AD, but they should check in to that "should". This woman will try anything I guess.

I think at this point we would try anything, she has to be stopped and held accountable for making false complaints. I'm going to be calling around to a few local lawyers for consultation to see what our options are.

My exH just verbalized that I was a "bad mother", "worthless" etc to my kids and my lawyer slapped charges against him so fast his head spun. We dropped the charges just because I really couldn't afford it all just for him being stupid and running his mouth. However, had CPS been called on me, I sure as hell would have taken his ass to court.
